I attended a one-year Bible school in my late-teens and learned many valuable things about myself and God.
I remember in one of the classes, the professor asked, “What defines Christian Music?”

I find that some people are naturals at encouraging others. Every time they open their mouth, something positive comes out. They have a personality that beams with joy and everyone they come into contact with is encouraged just by their presence.
Other people, like me, have to make a conscious effort to encourage others. I’ve been in situations where I think to myself, “I appreciate (name) because (reason)” or “I’m thankful that (name) did (what he/she did)” etc… but I never verbalize it.

I’ve always wanted to be a more encouraging person and since having my daughter, I make a conscious daily effort to do so. One of my favorite things to do when I was little was figure skate. I loved the beautiful costumes, the fabulous shows and all the wonderful friends I made in my years at the rink.
